Board Certified NP

(Family Medicine)

After spending 13 years in accounting, I made my career to taking care of patients. Having started as a CNA to make sure I wanted to work in health care, I went back to nursing school at SLU(Hammond, LA) to obtain my nursing degree(BS-RN) in 2007. While working in Cardiac ICU and Cath Lab at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, I started working towards my MSN, obtained my Nurse Practitioner board certification in Family

Medicine(MSN, FNPC) in 2015 and joined Bluebonnet Family Clinic. It is my belief that I was called to work in health care. My goal is for every patient to leave feeling like they have been seen and heard. I like to treat every patient as I would want my family be treated.

I grew up in Amite, Louisiana, and moved to Prairieville after graduating from Loranger High School. I started at Bluebonnet Family Clinic in 2009 as a medical assistant. Currently I am working as the office manager.  I love working with patients, and just seeing how the care I provide, gives them the comfort during their most vulnerable moments, warms my heart.  Working at Bluebonnet Family Clinic has taught me a great deal about patient care and I enjoy being a part of our awesome team.  I am married to my high school sweet heart, James and we have a five year old daughter.  I am currently attending Baton Rouge Community College to become a Registered Nurse.

It is very important for me to gain our patients' trust, put them at ease and address their worries and problems with understanding and sympathy. I love to interact with people and want their experience at our clinic as enjoyable and positive as possible.  I remain respectful of our patients' religious and ethical backgrounds and treat them accordingly. I was born in Russia, spend my late childhood in Afghanistan, and moved to Baton Rouge in 2010. I obtained my high school diploma and completed the medical assistant progaram(Certified MA). I started as an extern during my training, and continued my full time work with our great team of staff at our clinic. My long term goal is to become a Registered Nurse and make a difference in people's lives by helping them in times of need.
